Origins Game Fair was a great show. Thank you very much if you came by our booth in the Event Hall that featured Polyversal, our upcoming sci-fi miniatures game!
We ran Polyversal demos the entire show. Byron was video-interviewed by The Gaming Gang, and it was a blast. Here are some photos from the show, and a link to the video interview for a good overview of what Polyversal is all about (including some flyovers of the setup).
In addition, we reveal a new piece of artwork from James Masino for the game's rulebook, featuring a Brigade Models Ridgway Walker. This art is one of ten section introduction pieces; this one introduces Combatant Design, which is a big feature of Polyversal.
If you're not familiar with Polyversal, it is a universal sci-fi miniatures system, designed by Ken Whitehurst, and developed/published by Collins Epic Wargames. Polyversal is intended for 6-15mm models, and includes a design tool that's robust enough to handle any sci-fi miniatures from any manufacturer. We also partner with several great manufacturers (Hawk Wargames, Brigade Models, MicroWorld Games, Plasmablast Games, Dark Realm Miniatures, The Phalanx Consortium) to include some of the best of their lines in boxed sets and expansions.
We had a successful Kickstarter for the game (thanks for supporting us, if you did), and we're in the middle of production. You can still pre-order Polyversal at a special discount (with or without miniatures), until we finish up production. Anyone who pre-orders gets their name in the rules, and access to our full draft rulebook to provide feedback before final layout. We welcome your feedback, and we're proud of how the rules currently stand. To pre-order, please go here.
