I never understood how political correctness became a term of abuse. surely treating people with respect and dignity, and not abusing them for race, creed, colour or religion is an unalloyed 'good thing'.

PC – depends whether it is or its patronising one part of the population and insulting the other – though in the current case can't see how the use of BC is abusing people for religion etc. read through some social work forms recently and the phrasing of the questions gave away exactly what the PC response required was

Our new 28mm hard-plastic set VXA001 Athenian Armoured Hoplites 5th to 3rd Century BCE are now shipping to all our pre-order customers. Sorry for the slight delay in sending these out. The Jubilee held things up a few days, and then the company that manufactures our sets had a power outage which held up production for a few days as they were installing four new presses to cope with demand. All is well now and stocks are building up. Distributors and retailers will start receiving their shipments next week.

We are due to receive test shots of the Spartans, Thebans and Mercenaries, so as soon as we have some and stuck them together, images will go up on the site early next week. We will also get some off to our painters so you can see these splendid models in glorious color! Below are some lovely painted models of our Athenians, painted by the very talented Toby from Artmaster Studio.

The shields have all been decorated using the transfers designed by Steve at Little Big Men Studios. More transfer designs are being worked on at present for the forthcoming Greek sets.
