We are very pleased to be releasing not one, but two new lines of 15mm Swiss - available now is an Early Swiss line for the late 13th to early 15th centuries, and coming very soon is a Renaissance Swiss line for 1500-1550AD. There are several 15mm ranges for High Gothic Swiss (Burgundian Wars period), so we thought we'd make some bookends.

Available now on our webstore are the Early Swiss, 1291-1422. These are the warriors who gained the initial Swiss victories which astounded the Medieval world, though with their dauntless bravery, clever strategems and fearsome halberds, it's small wonder these defiant peasants defeated chivalrous opponents again and again.
We have made six poses of halberdiers, some of them throwing rocks - stoning the foe on the approach was a standard Swiss tactic in that period. Some models wear their hose avalez (rolled down), as was common practice in the later Medieval period.
To support the halberds, we have two poses of pikemen, these being in the minority in this period - even urban cantons who probably used more pikemen would still have fought in combat columns largely made up of halberdiers. Of course, we have made crossbowmen and command as well, including an Arnold von Winkelried-type petty aristocrat, ready to hurl himself upon the enemy spearshafts to create a breach to secure victory. (A grand story, but probably a myth, truth be told.) There's also everyone's favourite, the hornplayer in the cow-suit!

The basic models are in "war hat" helmets and simple metal pots, helms widely worn throughout the early period (and beyond). This allows you to field the armies of Mortgarten and Laupen. To make your army more specific to the mid-to-late 14th century (for battles such as Sempach), we have a "Bascinet Booster Pack" with some poses of command, crossbows, halberds and pikes wearing the bullet-shaped bascinet so you may mix them in with your other models.
We have even had the Swiss "letzinen" stone walls sculpted in a 40mm length, and this is currently being cast.
So take up your mighty horn, and use your halberd as the Swiss did - as one contemporary chronicler put it, to "chop their opponents into many small pieces."

The next line of Swiss, in full-blown Reislaufer finery of the Renaissance, was sculpted by Mike Broadbent and will be released in a few weeks.
