Maunsell Gun Platform

A set of STL files representing the prototype gun platform designed by Guy Maunsell to support amphibious landings. The Gun Platform was intended to be towed to a position off the beach, where the pontoons would be flooded and the platform would sit on the sea bed, providing a stable platform for its two 6" guns. A prototype model was built, but the design was not adopted.

Two variants are included, one in transit mode, the other sitting on the sea bed. The models are scaled at 1:600, but can be easily rescaled to 1:300 in your slicer software.
