Firstly, thanks to everyone that participated, and I enjoyed reading all your ideas and requests. It seems that most of us are actually on the same wavelength, and I'm looking forward to creating a wider range of characters for the world I've made a small step towards creating. I was expecting a lot of people asking for Dwarves, but the first calls were for the dust-devils (Desert Vampyres) on the edge of the dragon wastes and close enough to the Geladan and Hyenamen to become a pest.
I've got a few ideas floating around in my head for these, but no sketches have materialized in Zbrush yet. Gritty dour Elves were high on your lists, so I will be putting more thought into getting these done, If only I had more free sculpting time!
Okay, that's enough waffling. So who were the lucky winners? (Drumroll.)
In first place, we have Chris Dayman who wins the Hyenaman warband – the new Barbarian on Warbeest, the Shapeshifting Hyenaman Human Warrior, and Gnoll variant. And the Hyenaman Handler and his two Hyenas.
Chris' main suggestion was for the dust-devils, but we had a great chat about the Beestwars games he'd been playing with his mates in Australia. It was great to learn that he'd been putting the rules (developed by ZombieSmith) through their paces, and has had much larger games than I. Thanks, Chris, it was great chatting with you again.
In second place, we have Nathan Smith who wins the Geladan starter warband (although I think you are after the Barbarian shapeshifters, so you can swap them over if you want?). A lot of awesome ideas based around the Nomadic Elves I intend to sculpt. I hope I can get around to working on these soon. Clovis Wildebeest (Minotaurs) first, though.
