As many of you know, I've been getting out of the miniature gaming business. Terrain Warehouse, U.K., has now produced a new Armies of Arcana rulebook, and has begun actively promoting the game.
I would like to sell the Armies of Arcana 15mm miniature line in its entirety. The line is beautifully sculpted by Sandra Garrity, and includes four races not typically found in 15mm: Amazons, Wolfen, Demons and Snakemen. There are also 3 monsters: Manticores, Griffins and Owlbears. Several of the Demons, the Great Wolf, and the panthers are also monsterous.
The complete line is as follows:
Monsters (3):
- Owlbears (Large)
- Griffins (1 separate wing)
- Manticores (1 separate wing)
Wolfen (11):
- Swordsmen
- Spearmen
- Javelins
- Bows
- Scouts
- Lunatics
- Hunters
- Nightguard
- Greatwolf (makes a great wolf mount for 15mm figs, too)
- Shaman
- Lord
Demons (10):
- Imps
- Ice Demons
- Fire Demons
- Howlers
- Demon Knights
- Mounted Demon Knights
- Demon Knight Mounts
- Chain Demons (Large)
- Barons (Large)
- Cacodemons (Large)
Snakemen (10):
(designed for cavalry bases)
- Nyoka Swordsmen
- Nyoka Spearmen
- Nyoka Bowmen
- Nyoka Mamba (2 swords)
- Nyoka Charmers (whips)
- Kaa Swordsmen
- Kaa Hurlers (African throwing knife and shield)
- Kaa Snake Archers
- Kaa Wizard
- Kaa Lord
The Nyoka all have regular snake heads; the Kaa have cobra hoods.
Amazons (11):
- Swordmaiden
- Spearmaiden
- Bowmaiden
- Warrior
- Scout
- Bladedancer
- Rider
- Panther
- Princess
- Princess Rider
- Queen
Oh, the full line is 45 models.
Images of the line can be found all over the Thane's Games website, but the main pages are here, here, here, here, and here.
Some of the images are a little glossy, especially for the demons, but all of the sculpts are of the highest quality - these are 15mm figures with detail rivaling many 28mm lines.
I am asking for $6,000 USD for all ownership and production rights for the line. I am not open to negotiating the price down further, as this is less than half of the cost of sculpting and molds. The new owner will need to sign Sandra's standard contract stating they will not modify the miniatures without her permission/involvement, or remove her name from them, and will not sell the line without getting the new owner to also sign her contract. I am not open to selling parts of the line, only the whole line at once.
The molds are thrown in for free. The molds are all in excellent condition at Majestic Moldmaking in Ohio. Bryan Hitsman is an extremely talented mold maker and caster, and has all of the master molds as well as production molds. Each figure has its own production mold with multiple castings in each. I have most of the master figures, Bryan has the rest of them. Sandra owns the greens, but can work with the new owner if they want to make modifications with them.
The new owner will have to pay shipping costs for the molds, if they want them. Bryan will be more than happy to continue offering his superb casting services if they are desired by the new buyer.
I can also offer my remaining stock of minis as an addition to the sale, if desired. This is typically 20-200 of a given figure - though some figures are out of stock now, especially in the Amazon army. I do not have a cost for these figures prepared, as I am still selling figures to customers so the inventory has been dropping.
I would like to see the line end up in the hands of a business that will be able to promote it in a way I was not able to. I was never able to market it in the way it deserved, and it is an unknown product for most of the mini-gaming world.
