Zebcook writes:

Having been way too immersed in the show (working on another SGW license), I'd like to see Jaffa manning heavy staff cannon and Jaffa kneeling with staff, all with skullcaps not helmets. Also a Jaffa in robes/armor (Braytac as master) and a goa'uld commander for a squad.

Richard Dickens of Cold War Miniatures announces:

The company making them is new to the market, Phoenix is a U.K. company who hold a license to produce pewter figurines from Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Their current range of 1:25 prepainted Stargate figures can be seen on their website: phoenix-icons.com.

The 28mm unpainted range will be available as a tester for the wargames market - if there is enough interest, then more will follow.

Snake Jaffa

I've been told by the guy that runs Phoenix (a buddy of mine) that the first releases will be:

  • Snake Helmeted Jaffa (4 different poses)
  • Hawk Helmeted Jaffa (4 different poses)

These 2 sets of figures should be available before Christmas.

  • Bare Headed Jaffa (4 different poses)
  • O'Neill
  • Carter
  • Teal'c
  • Jackson
  • Mitchell

To follow sometime in the new year (models awaiting approval by MGM).

If there is demand for them, then more figures will be made for both SG-1 and Atlantis.

I will be stocking the figures as soon as I can get my grubby mitts on them, and selling through my website cold-war.co.uk and probably on eBay as well.
