Typical Landwehr -- the chaps in the second rank forcing the front rankers to shoot … at the point of the bayonet!

Wargame Vault announces the availability of:

Prussian Infantry, Silesian Landwehr 1815

Silesian Landwehr 1815

Publisher: Walkerloo Toy Soldiers

Early evening, 18th June, 1815, The battle of Waterloo. The Prussian army is battling with Napoleon's Guard Infantry around the village of Plancenoit. The Silesian Landwehr are in the thick of the fighting. The Landwehr weren't regular soldiers, but a militia levy made up from landed peasants and the middle classes. Aged from 17-40, it was men with all types of experience - including military! At Waterloo, they proved they could fight with great morale and resolve against a veteran foe.

The figures have black surrounds, and there is a detailed 'earth' sheet for figure bases. The cannon axle is fine with a match stick but a 50mm long, 4mm diameter bolt is better! The PDF sheets include the mirror reflections and fold lines to enable easy construction.

Walkerloo 1:35 scale DIY miniatures. Expressive illustrations for wargaming, toy playing and nice displays...

Price: $3.95 USD
