Dream Pod 9 is releasing two new full-color books this week.
The first is World at War: Gear Krieg (DP9-APD08, ISBN: 978-1-897460-96-2, softcover, 78 full-color pages, $38.00 USD) for the Battlefield Evolution game by Mongoose Publishing. World at War: Gear Krieg was released back in August as an eBook by A.D. Publishing on the wargamevault.com website. The layout and photos in the eBook looked so amazing that we decided it needed to be printed. The book is written by Agis Neugebauer, who also wrote the Battlefield Evolution: World at War and Pacific War books for Mongoose Publishing. Agis also painted and took all of the beautiful miniature photos in the book. This product requires the use of the Battlefield Evolution: World at War rulebook and some Gear Krieg miniatures to play.
The second new release this week is a new campaign book for Heavy Gear Blitz, entitled Shattered Peace - The War for Terra Nova, Book 1 (DP9-9097c, ISBN: 978-1-897460-95-5, softcover, 54 full-color pages, $30.00 USD). This is the first of three campaign books, and includes the following:
- Stats and army information on the CEF's allies from Eden.
- Stats and information on the CEF's Commando Frame Squads.
- Schematics of the CEF's new Assault Lander and HHT-90 Overlord Hovertank.
- Big map of Terra Nova with all the battle fronts shown.
- Maps of each of the CEF's seven drop zones and space battle.
- Multiple scenarios based around the opening days of the Battle for Terra Nova
- Guidelines for linking scenarios and running them as a mini campaign.
- Army, campaign and scenario sheets for home or campaign website use.
- Timeline narratives set during the War for Terra Nova.
- Datacards for all vehicles presented in the book.
