The Corsairs of Umbar are pirates that harass Gondor for years and were allies to Mordor. During the War of the Ring, Aragorn gathered a host of undead and attacked the Corsair fleet, then used that fleet to support the defending forces of Minas Tirith and helped to break the siege. Even these hardened veterans to battle were horrified when facing the ghoulish hordes of undead and many abandoned their vessels and fled rather than fight such horrors.
