A Fistful of Kung Fu Coming Soon

NickNorthStar writes:

The figures are all painted by Kev Dallimore. Kevin's a member of staff at North Star and his job involves painting the miniatures, photographing them and then designing the artwork for the advertising and box sets. So once we've given him the metal figures, we sit back and let him do all the work. :-)

The miniatures have all been designed by another North Star staff member, Steve Saleh.

The Ninja was sculpted by Mark Sims and painted by Dave Woodward, neither of which are staff members but work with us so closely you wouldn't know they weren't!

PS Once the Kung Fu orders are sent out, we'll start to talk more about the Pirate project.

Dreamblade Repainted

Hundvig Fezian is not a real big fan of pre-painted minis, and he positively despises randomly-packed "collectable" ones - so why is he writing this article?

Our figure range for the new Osprey wargame, A Fistful of Kung Fu, is all ready to go. The book is officially out on the 20th of February, but there is a good chance we'll have it much earlier. Our plan is to ship all the pre-orders as soon as the rulebook is in.

A Fistful of Kung Fu

So our pre-order deal will end on the 1st of February. The four boxed sets will still be available to order after that, of course.

The Fistful of Kung Fu range will be available in the U.S.A. from Brigade Games, and in Australia from War and Peace Games.

The full range of North Star/Osprey Publishing figures is available at U.K. shows from Wargames Emporium.

We have finished our first release of Kung Fu figures, so we are already working on the next project. Here is a little sneak preview of some of the figures for On the Seven Seas, due out in August.
