Battle of Dennewitz for Imperial Lances

Back to Hobby News

The Tin Dictator writes:

When talking about Napoleonic battles I suppose size is relative. I generally like BIG battles. When I said that this battle was "relatively" small I was also comparing it to Leipzig.

Anyway, I think its a fun battle with a good ebb and flow due to the reinforcements trickling in.

The OOB is designed for Imperial Lances and the map is also designed to that scale. I'm sure its easily converted to other rules if you're so inclined.

The Tin Dictator has posted background, OOBs, and map for the Battle of Dennewitz 1813 to the Imperial_Lances Yahoo! Group.

Dennewitz map
This battle was part of the Berlin Campaign, and is fun because it's relatively small and there are so many different nationalities involved. Sort of a mini-Leipzig.... And historically, the Prussian side won!

The four PDF-format files are located in the Scenarios > 1813 Battle of Dennewitz folder of the group's file section.
