I have just added a new set of larger Batbases to the shop – these are 19cm-wide MDF bases intended to accommodate vignettes of up to two dozen miniatures.
The irregular edges have a naturalistic look which blends much better with a base cloth than do rectangular bases. The bases are cut from 2mm MDF. Should you wish to magnetize the bases for transport, 3mm diameter magnets (supplied separately) can be glued into the holes. If desired, the edges of the bases can be chamfered with a craft knife and/or sanded so that they slope down to the table surface. Two bases can be joined to form a double depth base, and five bases can be stored within a four-liter Really Useful Box. The image below is of minis mounted on a smaller 13cm-wide base.
All the Batbases (including the ones intended for the 15cm grid) can be found here.
