Two very different releases from Eureka Miniatures.

The 'serious' historical gamers amongst you will be please to see the new additions to our popular 18mm Crimean War range. British artillery, Russian staff officers, and French infantry. All sculpted by Mike Broadbent. The French are particularly welcome as they formed the largest contingent of the allied force despatched to the Crimean in 1854. They were a well organised and flexible army, with considerable combat experience, based primarily on their operations in Algiers. However, like the British they had not faced a major European power since Waterloo, and many new lessons would have to be learnt.
For the French, our new release contains a choice of kepi- and shako-wearing infantry, as well as the exotically attired Zouaves who were destined to influence military fashions on both sides of the Atlantic. The British army, whose stiff old uniforms were in the middle of a drawn-out and unevenly applied program of reform, were greatly intrigued and grudgingly impressed by the French army's appearance. The Times war correspondent, William Russell, admitted that the average British soldier "cuts a sorry figure beside a great Gaul in his blazing red pantaloons".
These new releases go with the existing French cavalry in our 18mm Crimean range, the Chasseurs d'Afrique. Other additions to the Crimean War range are a set of Russian staff officers, and British artillery.

Meanwhile – are you too busy giving the bad guys a kicking to get your homework in on time? Well then, you must be one of the Kung Fu Schoolgirls sculpted by Mike Broadbent! Forget about arithmetic or chemistry, these schoolgirls are schooled in the martial arts. When school is out they are ready to use what they've learnt to defend Humanity: fighting off demons, battling crime lords or starring in Quentin Tarantino movies!
We are not sure what part of Mike Broadbent's creative mind these young ladies have high kicked their way out of, but this set of seven girls, all wearing school uniforms and in "authentic" martial art poses, will be ideal for role-playing against Vampires, Werewolves and Demons alike. They are also suitable for Anime roleplaying games.
