We will be having a Flames of War Tanksgiving event this coming Saturday, November 14, 2009.

Start time is 11AM, and will run until 5PM.

This is Tanksgiving… and that means tanks! This is a charity event… and that means giving!

Cost of entry: Six canned-good items will allow a player to field a force of 2,000 points. No cheesy $0.29 USD cans of tomato sauce, please! Alternately, players can donate $5.00 USD to the charity collection to play a 2,000 point force. Yes, additional donations will be gladly accepted.

Up to 24 players will play on highly detailed, multi-terrain game table of 24' x 6' with objectives spread across the board. Players will accumulate victory points, based on controlling objectives at the end of each player turn. Players will be evenly divided on each of the two sides of the battlefield.

2,000 point armies will be available for new players, and rules will be taught. The objectives of this event: 1) Giving and 2) Fun!

Last year's event hosted 14 players, and our total donation was over $100 USD in food and cash. We would hope to top that figure this year.
