As pretty as that looks, I kringe at the thought of playing a game with so many individually mounted figures. I did that once and it was really annoying.

Set VX5401 54mm British Peninsular Flank companies is due for release by 19th October. We are just waiting for the boxes to be printed and shipped to the factory, and then they are ready to go. Pre-orders for the 54mm figures will go up sometime next week. We will be giving away a free 54mm British flag to all those customers who order from the time of pre-order to the end of October.

54mm Napoleonic infantry

Below is a useful height comparison shot, up against a Victrix 28mm miniature and a ruler. You can see that the detail and character in these models is superb, really capturing the flavour of the Napoleonic British soldier of the Peninsular War.

Size comparison

There are 16 figures in the box, including officer, sergeant and drummer, plus many arm-and-head combinations to make a huge variety of poses. The boxed set is priced at £19.95 GBP.

The figures are great for skirmish games, modelers and collectors, and paint up really well. These are just a few examples painted by the very talented Andrew Taylor.
