Thanks for the response guys,

Lupulus, they are 18mm to the top of the head and not to the eye.

Russell, they are not the Clan wars Samurai, but having said that, bot Mike and myself were big Clan Wars fans and they grew out of that love.

Cheers

G'day All!

I would like to introduce our business – Slave 2 Gaming. We are a new independent online store who are a retailer for Mike Broadbent-designed originals. This means that these figures are not sold from other stores and come from Mike's own back-catalog of figures that he wanted to create.

Mike has been in the industry for over 30 years, sculpting figures for such companies as Khurasan Miniatures, Company B and Eureka Miniatures, among others.

Currently, we have only two lines of figures;

  1. The 18mm Dark World War range, which is an alternate World War I range.
  2. The World of Fantastica fantasy range, which is currently only a Skeletal Samurai range, but will grow in the not-too-distant future.

As our business grows, we plan to expand into both historical and sci-fi figures. We have plans to build on the current and future ranges with both traditional sculpted figures and 3D-designed lines.

I've been showing the 18mm figures (and some of the fantasy range) on other forum sites, so some of you may be aware of our ranges. Currently, we are not selling 3D-designed plastic miniatures, our current range is more of a retro hand-made metal-cast miniature line. Our plan is to move towards 3D-designed vehicles and large-scale figures in the future, but at the moment, our ranges are only small and cover a few lines.

We are building a website at the moment, but are open for business. We have created a Facebook page and will be soon looking at other things such as Instagram, so have a look and maybe even give us a Like. We are currently doing sales via email and are using PayPal to do all sales.

As mentioned earlier, our current ranges include our 18mm Dark World War range of both British and Prussians, these are aimed towards such games as All Quiet on the Martian Front and Gruntz (which we are currently making game cards for).

We also have a fantasy range of 28mm Undead Skeleton Samurai, with the plans for two different types of Elves, plus other races.

There are also prices on Facebook at these links:

So, how we do things at the moment is as follows:

  1. We keep very little stock on hand, so when you order, we contact the caster and they are made and usually sent out within a day or two to us.
  2. We package them correctly into their blisters.
  3. We then send them out. The whole process can take around ten days to send out to you.

This may sound a little complicated and time consuming, but at the moment, we are still testing the waters to see what stock to carry.

The figures don't come with bases, as we are looking into which ones to use for the figures, this may still be a little way off.

The prices are in Australian dollars, as we are an Australian business. This is good for overseas buyers, but unfortunately, not so good for local buyers. As mentioned, PayPal is ready to go, so just contact me about your plans.
