Medieval Warfare V-6

We recently sent issue V-6 of Medieval Warfare off to the printer. In this latest edition, we take a look at the Mongol invasion of Europe: by combining guile, ruthlessness, and tactics largely unknown to the Europeans, Genghis Khan and his sons left a trail of bloody destruction across Russia, Georgia, Poland and Hungary. In the end, the only thing that checked the Mongols was their own internal politics. In addition to looking at Mongol warfare, equipment, and some of their greatest victories, this issue also explores other topics, including Vegetius in the Middle Ages and the role of honor in Viking society. You can find a complete summary of V-6's contents on our website.

We plan to start sending out issue V-6 to subscribers (aren't one yet? click here) around the 10th of December. We'll be sending out pre-orders around the same time, so if you'd like to get your own copy of Medieval Warfare V-6 as soon as possible, a pre-order is your best bet: besides fast service, you'll also receive a small discount. You can head over to our webshop to reserve your copy today.
