Nickstarter Pre-Order Program
North Star has broken down this Nickstarter into three periods: Sigilist, Soothsayer and Summoner. At the end of each period, there will be a prize draw from amongst everyone who has ordered one of the Wizard Levels up to the end of that period. Make your purchase and you're automatically entered into the draw for that period, and any other draws going forward. For example, if you bought Wizard Level 2 during the Sigilist period, you're automatically in all three draws. If you jumped in during the Soothsayer period, you're in for the Soothsayer and Summoner draws. So order early to enter the most draws!
- What are the Prizes?

- What is Ulterior Motives?
- This expansion for Frostgrave consists of 40 Ulterior Motive cards, which add variety, depth and new tactical challenges to wargames in the Frozen City. Each card presents the player with a specific task to accomplish and offers rewards if they succeed. Some of these missions must be revealed to all of the players; others must be kept secret. Will your wizard seek to slay a great demon? Rescue a desperate captive? Bring retribution to an enemy? All wizards seek power, but what are their ulterior motives?

Prize Draws
- The Sigilist Period (15th May to 20th May) The Sigilist Prize Draw
- In honor of those wizards who work magic by committing it to paper, the winner of the Sigilist prize draw will receive a print of a piece of Dmitry Burmak's Frostgrave artwork signed by author Joseph McCullough. Any of the pieces from the rulebook, Thaw of the Lich Lord, Into the Breeding Pits, Forgotten Pacts or The Frostgrave Folio are available – the choice is up to the lucky winner!
- The Soothsayer Period (21st May to 25th May)The Soothsayer Prize Draw
- Like the wizards after which it is named, the winner of the Soothsayer prize draw will get the chance to see – and shape – the future of the Frozen City. Working with Joseph McCullough and Osprey Games, the winner will get the opportunity to design a Frostgrave scenario for inclusion in a future supplement! In addition to being credited as the scenario's designer, the winner will also receive three free copies of the supplement once it is released.
- The Summoner Period (26th May to 30th May) The Summoner Prize Draw
- Summoners maintain that the greatest magic lies in bringing a creature or spirit, fully-formed, into this plane of existence. That, in effect, is what the winner of the Summoner prize draw will receive the opportunity to help design a figure for Frostgrave. Working with Joseph McCullough, North Star, and Osprey Games, the lucky winner will develop a human-sized character from an initial concept, through sculpting by one of the amazing sculptors on the Frostgrave line, to casting and production. The winner will also receive a resin master cast and six metal castings of their figure before it goes on to grace the Frostgrave figure line.
