This week sees The Battle for Macgragge launch, our very cool new starter set for Warhammer 40,000.

40-01-60 THE BATTLE FOR MACGRAGGE

$45.00 USD

Battle for Macgragge

This Starter Set is a great introduction to Warhammer 40,000 and features Space Marines and Tyranid forces, battling through scenarios utilizing the contents of the box, including an awesome crashed Imperial shuttle. This is an introductory set is aimed at new players with no knowledge of Warhammer 40,000 or tabletop war gaming.

The plastic models contained within the starter set are superlative Citadel miniatures, designed for ease of assembly and gaming use. They do not require glue, and can be assembled for play in less than thirty minutes. While straightforward in assembly, once fitted together they look just as good as their more complicated to assemble counterparts.

The 32pp full-color Getting Started booklet introduces a new player to the 40K universe, and features a strong narrative based around the contents of the box. This theme will be used for training missions, with each mission adding a new element of the game, such as movement, shooting and assault rules. This leads a new hobbyist through the first stages of playing a Warhammer 40,000 game, utilizing an easy-to-follow tutorial style fully illustrated with photos of the game contents. The missions are all designed around the contents of the game – nothing else is needed to play them!

The starter set rulebook included in The Battle for Macragge contains the full rules for Warhammer 40,000. Gamers can easily move from the starter set straight into buying a codex and collecting an army. Please note that the contents of the starter set will not be sold separately.
