Troll & Toad is Hiring

Back to Hobby News

I think the location is the right question. Plenty of people will take lower pay for what they view as more interesting, amusing, or challenging opportunities. Some PEs might like assembling terrain enough to do it for 20K a year. I have two graduate degrees and when I assemble my terrain I get only negative dollars for it!

Not everyone who is really good at math should quit doing basic physics research because investment banking makes them more money… and the gap between physics pay and investment banking pay is way larger than that between terrain designer pay and Professional Engineer pay.

In any case, these are the kinds of questions they should have anticipated and addressed in their advertisement.
