Well, let's start 2009 off with a bang...
Wargames U.S.A. clearout
Some of you may have caught the news that Wargames (USA) are running a clearout sale of QRF. This is not such a surprise as it might appear. Wargames are scaling back, as they feel they are unable to handle such a large range.
We have expressed concerns about their stocking levels for a while, and were about to open the range to direct retail.
I'm in the U.S.A.. Can I order QRF direct now?
We have never prevented U.S. customers from ordering direct. The idea of a distributor is for large bulk orders which are distributed to smaller retail outlets. The concept of a U.S. outlet is mainly one of getting the product closer to the customer, either so it can be seen first hand or to try and/or reduce shipping costs.
What now/next?
For now, you can still obtain QRF via Wargames while stock levels last. Despite them not being listed, they do have stock of the modern ranges, too. I believe there may be some retail outlets that Wargames supplied. Alternatively, you can order direct from us.
However we are on the lookout for new outlets. Given the current state of the global financial market, we are looking to ship direct to retail, so if you know a shop (FLGS) that might be interested...
What about Feudal Castings and Freikorp?
Many of you are aware that there have been ongoing problems obtaining our FC/FK15 products from Little Wars in Texas. They are still placing orders, but seem to be focusing on direct sales (in shop) rather than mail order. Consequently, with effect from 1 January 2009, these two lines are also available to retailers.
If anyone is interested, please email me at iwantsome@quickreactionforce.co.uk.
Are you running a sale?
Of course. Details to follow.
