dlombardy of Lombardy Studios writes:

Award-winning game designer Dana Lombardy (Streets of Stalingrad) has partnered with game industry Hall of Fame graphic artist Rodger B, MacGowan (C3i magazine) to produce a fast-playing, two-player and solitaire World War One card game, now on Kickstarter.

There are pledge-levels that includes a teacher's guide, and a discounted three-pack with window poster for retailers.

Ace

In 1915, the term "ace" was first used to describe a fighter pilot who shot down five or more enemy aircraft, and this is what the Ace Card represents in MacGowan & Lombardy's The Great War card game. Rodger's dramatic illustration shows perhaps the most famous pilot of the Great War: German ace Manfred von Richthofen – AKA the Red Baron – credited with 80 victories before his death in 1918.
