Awwwww, wow, that's bad news. I understand the sick feeling.

Oh -- one thing Glenn didn't say but kind of implied: Some of those backups should be offsite! Doesn't do any good to have a stack of CDs in the server room when the place burns down.

Ummm. My home computer was last backed up…yeah, guess what I am doing tonight.

Elmore Productions announces:

Larry suffered a huge computer crash over the weekend. They have been unable to save his files, so he is sending it off to a company that specializes in retrieving lost files, but this process can take 2-3 weeks.

Art such as this is normally available as a giclee print on canvas

All of our giclee print files are on his computer. If they are unable to retrieve the files, we will have to rescan, layout and format each print from scratch.

Either way, we are looking at minimum delay of 2-3 weeks on giclee prints and canvas prints. If you have placed an order for a giclee that you have not yet received, this will delay shipment. This does not affect lithographs and book orders.

Larry has been sick over it. He may have possibly lost thousands of photos and files… We ask for your patience during this time, and hope to be back up and running as soon as possible.

Larry says, "Yes, I did have some back-up files, but not enough… yes, I know I'm stupid."
