In my ongoing effort to make things easier for those of you who collect and build JTFM/Die Waffenkammer gear, I have re-mastered our German Hanomags.
To simplify things, the track assemblies are now cast to the hull. No need for assembly anymore! I've also changed the front end - the suspension and wheels are now a one-piece casting. Apply glue to two attachment points, and you're done!
All the tools - which were separate pieces - are now cast to the chassis to remove some fiddly bit work.
The SdKfz.251/2C and 2D 8cm. mortar carriers no longer require the assembly of the mortar. The mortar is now fully assembled and is cast as part of the chassis!
The only thing I was not able to change was the top of the crew compartment. It remains separate, as the interior angles do not allow for a clean de-mold, and changing the interior would have detracted from the detail and authenticity of the models.
As a bonus, each vehicle now comes with - not only our usual assortment of stowage - but a crew compliment as well! Each vehicle comes with three to four figures: a driver, a commander/spotter, a weapons operator, and a seated passenger.
