Hello, everyone!
I am happy to present the first release in my line of 1:500 scale Napoleonic figures. These figures measure roughly 4mm in height, and are among the smallest individually crafted figures in the world. This first release will introduce the line, and hopefully, the general direction I'd like to take it over the next few months. It has been a rare and wonderful experience working on this project the past 15 months, and I'd like to thank everyone on TMP's Napoleonic Discussion Board for their fine advice and input throughout. I couldn't have done it without you guys!
As a way of handing out cigars, so to speak, I'll be sending a free 128-figure 1815 French Company Pack to the first 20 people who email me at Inkbiz@aol.com. Please just be sure to include a shipping address and the type of Company (Grenadier, Fusilier, Voltigeur) you prefer.
In producing this line of figures, I tried my best to stick with these 5 main features, which I hope is reflected in the final product:
- Historical Accuracy:
- For the first time, deploy historically accurate units with every single rank and file represented on the table; from Privates, Corporals, Sergeants, Lieutenants, and Captains, to Adjutants, Mounted Chefs, Drummers, Sappers, and a full Color Guard – over 50 unique poses, positions, and ranks all accurately reproduced for your battalions. Turn your bland-bases into mini-dioramas!
- Human Proportion:
- The proper anatomical proportions of the figures allows for true representations of actual unit frontages and depths. No more fudging with ground scales and endless conversions – how they look is how they looked!
- Attention to Detail:
- Subtle differences in height, poses, smartness of order, and variances in equipment between Grenadiers, Fusiliers, and Voltigeurs add to the overall dynamic look of your formations. No more armies of static-looking clones!

Pricing:
Company Packs and Command Packs contain 100-128 figures and are $5.95 USD each. Battalion Packs contain over 900 figures and are $39.95 USD each. A colored diagram for figure layout is included in all packs, as well as a painting guide.
- Fusilier Company Pack (Marching, Support Arms):
- 100 Fusiliers based with 8 Corporals, 12 uniquely posed Sergeants (4 with marker pennants), 2 Sergeant Majors, and a selection of 12 uniquely posed Fusilier Company Officers, including 4 Captains, and 8 Lieutenants.
- Grenadier Company Pack (Marching, Support Arms):
- 100 Grenadiers based with 8 Corporals, 12 uniquely posed Sergeants (4 with marker pennants), 2 Sergeant Majors, a Captain, and 2 Lieutenants.
- Voltigeur Company Pack (Marching, Support Arms):
- 100 Voltigeurs based with 8 Corporals, 12 uniquely posed Sergeants (4 with marker pennants), 2 Sergeant Majors, a Captain, and 2 Lieutenants.
- Voltigeur Company Pack (Skirmishing):
- 30 Voltigeurs skirmishing in pairs, Central and Wing Reserves with 70 figures at 'shoulder arms', 12 uniquely posed Sergeants (4 with marker pennants), 2 Sergeant Majors, a Captain, and 2 Lieutenants.
- Company Command Pack:
- Company Officers, and NCO's for all 6 Companies - 36 Officers, and 84 NCO's - 120 figures total.
- Regiment Command Pack:
- Command figures for 2 Battalions, including 12 Mounted Officers (8 different Chefs, 2 different Colonels, 2 different Adjutants), 18 Color Guard, 24 Drummers, 2 Drum Majors, 14 Sappers, 8 Adjutants on foot, 4 Guide Generals, 2 Corporal d' Encadrement, and 16 Casualties/Runners - 100 figures total.
- Battalion Pack:
- 400 marching Fusiliers, 100 marching Grenadiers, 100 marching Voltigeurs, 100 skirmishing Voltigeurs, all Company Officers and NCOs for each, 12 Mounted Officers (8 different Chefs, 2 different Colonels, 2 different Adjutants), 18 Color Guard (1 set of 9 with Eagle, 1 set of 9 with Fanion), 12 Drummers, 1 Drum Major, 7 Sappers, 4 Adjutants on foot, 2 Guide Generals, 1 Corporal d' Encadrement, and 32 Casualties/Cowards. A ready-to-go Battalion, right out of the box!
Raffle:
I will be holding a raffle for a painted battalion of over 600 figures for anyone placing an order between now and March 10th, 2007. In addition, I will paint a Company of figures (your choice, so please specify) for anyone ordering a Battalion Pack, or for any order over $30.00 USD.
Shipping:
Shipping is $4.95 USD for orders shipped within the U.S.A., and $6.95 USD for international orders. All orders will be shipped U.S.P.S. Priority/Global Priority Mail, with Delivery Confirmation. Please note that this is the first run of castings, and delivery to me is scheduled between March 17-March 24th, so shipping will be slightly after that date. Of course, the first run, like the first volley, is the best!

So, What's Next?
Well, depending on how well this initial offering goes, I should have the British Infantry arriving within 4-6 weeks, quickly followed by French and British Artillery, and Cavalry. Then it's the British Allies at Waterloo, and finally.. the Prussians...
