Hi all – and especially the Perry bros!

'just analyzed the new "on the workbench" pictures, with the greens for the Imperial Guard commanders. I found 1 guard artillery commander (Saint-Maurice), 1 young guard commander (Duhesme), and 4 old guard commanders.

This is where it gets interesting: Cambronne and Michels were commanding "chasseurs a pied", but Friant and Christiani were commanding "grenadiers"! Does this allow us to anticipate any future releases?

Thanks very much for your support and pre-orders, we were bowled over!

French

Here's some more pics and a few answers to your questions. We've tried to get in closer to parts of the sprues - hopefully, the detail will come out in the pictures. These were the first shots out of the press, and as such you normally expect sticking problems, but these were just fine.

French sprue

Here's a picture of the base sprue which comes with the box. We will be selling these separately soon, and in four colours: green, brown, sand and gray. They will also be available off the sprue and packed individually in their particular sizes.

French sprue

There will be three new metal codes for the French when the plastics come out, which include Imperial Guard commanders, and a Line Infantry Regimental command in greatcoats. We do, as Pictors Studio said, make Regimental and Battalion commands for the French Infantry already (as well as NCO's), in case you're gaming at a different ratio.

Green bases

You can easily convert the spherical pom-pons to the disc type by just squeezing them gently between flat-nosed pliers... it works, I tried it!

As to opposition to the French, we'll let you know soon with a few pictures......

You may need to click on the photos to see them at full-size.
