Steel Dreadnought Games has announced that Naval Thunder: Bitter Rivals will be released this month.
According to Harry Pratt at SDG: "We've been getting bombarded by questions about the release date for Bitter Rivals. There is a lot of excitement out there about this product, so we just wanted to let our fans out there know that it will be out this month!"
Naval Thunder: Bitter Rivals is an expansion of the Naval Thunder WWII core rules that were released in Naval Thunder: Battleship Row. Bitter Rivals includes:
- 13 thoroughly researched historical scenarios, with orders of battle, correct starting positions, prevailing weather, special scenario rules, victory conditions and more. Scenarios are drawn from the Atlantic, Pacific, and Mediterranean theaters and range from small cruiser engagements, to huge fleet actions.
- Data cards for more than 130 classes of ship, representing comprehensive fleet lists for the British, German, Italian, and French Navies.
- Data cards for civilian freighters and military troop transports.
- Special rules for each of the included navies representing the qualities that made that country's navy unique.
- New scenario special rules covering surprise, exhaustion, convoy escorts, shore batteries, mines, and more.
- New cover art by Wayne Scarpaci depicting the HMS Hood and Prince of Wales during the Battle of the Denmark Strait - moments before the Hood exploded.

Naval Thunder: Bitter Rivals will be released at the introductory price of $12.95 USD.
