Sir Tankalot,

Another option is to disguise the bases. We set one figure up on the bunker base (the base holding an AT gun in this review – though we hadn't disguised it yet in the picture: link
to be standing in shell casings, and another to be standing in wood plank debris.

It is a bit more work than using a flat surface and modeling up, but if you were to make your bases look like the CAMA line, I figure it would take twice as long there too.

Out now: 15A13CM - 2 different heavy artillery scenic bases (rural) in the Cama WWII range!

Unlike the 15A04CM which are specifically designed for German 88 guns and their trailers, these are more general and will work well with any large gun.

15A04CM - designed specifically to hold a German 88mm gun and its trailer

Cast in tough polyurethane resin and designed for any large artillery piece, these two bases are each the same size of a large FoW base, and will provide you with a very realistic gun emplacement that is perfectly compatible with the Flames of War rules. Just add big guns!

Supplied unpainted.

I've also updated the progress bars on all pages, so you can track the state of the model you're waiting for!

Plenty of new releases coming up, so stay tuned - or even better, sign up for the Baueda mailing list to get a brief news flash every time a new model is available!
