We've added some more videos on our site for 54mm ACW, demonstrating Hex Command Gunpowder combat, adapting terrain, and dealing with 54mm manf'r issues with ACW cannons.

"Re: Future of Flash: word on the street is that Flash videos are going to go away in favor of HTML5 though the full roll out for that is supposed to be less than a few years, but it will be interesting to see how YouTube handles the switch because it's entirely based on flash." Like a lot of things in the world of IT, I wouldn't hold your breath. I'll believe HTML5 when I see it. A bit like IPv6!! "Having one video one per page was commented at an earlier time as not being user friendly, which is why a drop down list of videos and apps that do that was selected as a solution, and incidentally is why all the apps available for website videos work that way instead of a separate pages for each video." But you haven't got a drop-down list
Look, I work in IT and that is definitely not user-friendly. If a techno-geek like me couldn't work it out, what hope is there for Joe Public? What I want to see is a page presenting a list of videos as clickable links. Click on the link to the selected video you want to watch and the single page containing that video is displayed. Simple, obvious and easy to use. The actual video page can be anywhere – om your own site, YouTube it doesn't matter. "Having a list on a page of videos to choose from was also previously done on the iimm site, but it was too hard to maintain as the page would need to be updated each time a new video was added;! I run a podcast page (nothing to do with wargaming). It is simplicity itself to update the list of links. " feedback from visitors said that having an on-line app that lists the videos was more user friendly." Only if you know the interface being used. I've never seen the video player you're using anywhere else. |
Can you buy a 15mm pre-painted Sherman for $3 USD at your local store?
