I had a boxer flag, cut from a yellow pages ad for a Chinese restaurant. A Chinese reading guest who was visiting, thought it strange for a Boxer to be advertising a restaurant, even stranger, the text was upside down!

This is a set of Medieval Sung/Song Dynasty Chinese decals designed for 28mm wargaming figures, and specifically sized to fit TAG Sung Chinese range. The decals in this set also fit The Dragon Kings 28mm Chinese range by Black Hat Miniatures.

TAG Sung with decals

This set depicts various designs, Sung era name (Establish a Happy Rule, Cleanse the Country) and imperial slogans (Heaven's Mandate, Kill the Northern Barbarians) in Chinese calligraphic script used by Chinese swordsmen of the Sung dynasty on their shields.

Additionally, the character "Shou", in seal script, which means "Long Life" and was believed to have magical properties in Old China, was included to be used on 28mm soldiers' clothing. It was frequently sewn on clothes to be used as an amulet to ward off enemy missiles.

Also, the character "Sung" (Sung Dynasty) is included in this set in two sizes, which can be used on TAG, The Dragon Kings, and Curteys Miniatures.

This is what the decals look like on TAG Sung figures

So far, TAG and Dragon Kings-sized version is available, but will be updated to reflect Curteys size within a week or so.
