Peter N C Frost of The Late Queen writes:

This is 1941. After an astounding defeat at the Ebro, where Republican troops aided by the Soviet expeditionary force, consisting of a resurrected Rasputin and 50,000 of his zombies, rolled over the Nationalist defenders almost wiping out the crack Army of Africa - Franco's elite force, the tide has turned in Spain.

Looking in vain for a way to break a long string of defeats, the Nationalists are suddenly approached by the Third Reich asking for permission to land 4 divisions in Malaga. Their task: To take Gibraltar and prevent British intervention in the Mediterranean.

It is during these talks that the Nationalist minister of foreign affairs utters his famous words: "If foreign troops are to make their own war on Spanish soil, Spanish pride will suffer. For this to happen, you will have to pay a high price: Give us nukes or give us mutants!"

Having no nuclear capabilities, the Third Reich leaders dig deep in their secret Bavarian laboratories.

El Torro - inspires awe

The result: genetically manipulated man/bull creatures.

You can field from 0-5 of these powerful creatures in any Nationalist force in SSCW, providing you have at least one officer with a Torreadore background to control these vile beasts.

El Torro - fierce warrior

Fierce close-combat opponents (combat value of Elite/5+), the creatures suffer somewhat from lack of ears. All perception checks are at -2 in open, -3 in towns.

Soon to be released - watch this space!
