New Friedrichshafen G-III 1/144th has just been released.

G-III 3/4 view

Our Reviresco multi-media kit is supplied with cardstock wings, tail and rear fuselage, pre-printed in irregular hexagon patterns for both day and night bombers. So you can make either from this kit. No decals are necessary.

"Why paper?" you ask. Cardstock offers several advantages over cast metal for the kits in this scale. The wings can be made very close to scale thickness without loss of structural integrity. Then there is the weight to consider. This kit when completed weighs in at about 1 ounce. If it were all metal, the weight would soar to somewhere in the vicinity of 5 to 6 ounces.
