Scutatus writes:

AFAIK it has been a few years since they were available, and it was indeed a limited run back then. So, not really that much of a swindle I wouldn't have thought.

Besides, WH needed something to fill the gap while they get their new rulebook ready. They have to be seen to be releasing SOMETHING and these are as good as anything. :)

Warhammer Historical announces:

The Spartacus Diorama, sculpted by Alan and Michael Perry, ties in to our Spartacus supplement for Warhammer Ancient Battles and features Spartacus, Crassus and two Centurions on a scenic base.

Spartacus diorama

According to Roman historian Plutarch, Spartacus was a slave and a gladiator who became the leader in a slave uprising against the Roman Republic, later known as the Third Servile War. His inspirational struggle has made him a folk hero amongst cultures both ancient and modern.

This diorama is now available to pre-order from the Warhammer Historical website. We'll be dispatching orders during the week commencing 21st September 2009.
