Forty Dead Men is an easy-to-play set of American Civil War rules. The rules are simple to learn and very easy to play. Regimental-sized actions are at the core of the rules, and the basic maneuver element is the company (represented by up to ten figures). Once learned, players can easily handle multiple regiments, allowing larger-sized actions. The rules use D6 mechanics and an I go, U go format with plenty of player interaction. The rules allow for a flexible unit scale that will allow larger scale actions.
