Galatians!!

I looked at these on the 19th and the urge was there to get some. Today it dawned on me that you could do some head and sheild swaps with the plastic celts to make some Galatians. I know as a goony gamer I will have to do them for a sucessor Army to make some uniquely Galatian units.

The possibilities are endless. Celts with a hoplite helmet, hoplites with Celtic shields. I can't wait.

Just a sneak preview of what is to come, and why my metal releases have been a bit slow of late!

Hoplite

Shown are two standard Hoplites and one command figure. There will be 34 figures in total (32 Hoplites, one piper, and an optional ornately armoured command figure) comprising of 20 Hoplites wearing linen/composite armour, four with bronze armour, and eight unarmoured figures.

Command figure

With a total of 64 components per infantry frame (plus the command frame), you will have enormous choice in helmets, crests, shields and weapons; allowing you to create very individual units.

Hoplite

The price will be in line with what is on sale from other manufacturers.

The set is virtually finished now, but I can't give a release date yet!
