It's true that the Arisaka was long, but it wasn't that long. Still, these are 15s, so some exaggeration is actually necessary to make details stand out. But all that said, it still looks a bit too big.

It certainly would not stop me from using these as Japanese, though, as they are clearly the best out there, by a wide margin.

Banzai!

15mm World War II Japanese

With our new 15mm World War Two Japanese models you will soon be sweeping across Manchuria, island-hopping across the Pacific, or riding your bicycle down the Malay Peninsula.

After the success of our 15mm World War Two Pacific Australian figures, Mike Broadbent has sculpted a multi-variant range of 15mm Japanese which allows customers to order their principal figure types in either helmet or kepi. We have provided a good selection of typical Japanese support weapons, which include Type 89 knee mortars and a Type 92 gun - and no Japanese range would be complete without bicycle troops. The humble bicycle, issued to large numbers, gave Japanese troops a degree of mobility that seems to have bewildered their more static opponents during the opening months of the Pacific War. Naturally, this being the Japanese, we have also added a standard bearer to proudly display the Rising Sun flag, and the officer figures brandish their swords in the Samurai tradition for those desperate charges.

To compliment the range, we have released a 15mm World War Two Japanese Log Bunker (resin model) in our 15mm Scenery range.
