I wish them the best of luck! I am so glad that they are taking over the Northern Hemisphere. Is Asia far behind?

Privateer Press, Inc. Announces Strategic Partnership with Cerberus Entertainment, LLC to Open European Production Facility

Privateer Press announces partnership to open European production facility

Privateer Press is partnering with Cerberus Entertainment, LLC to open a production facility in Liverpool, England, in order to meet the increasing demand for its products. Beginning in early 2005, Cerberus will handle the manufacture and distribution of miniatures for the Warmachine and Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy lines to the European market. In addition to miniatures, Cerberus will also assume management of localized language versions of Privateer publications beginning with French and Italian this month. German and Spanish versions will come later this year and more languages will follow in the future.

Liverpool is one of the largest shipping centers in Europe, and with the new production facility Privateer will be able to strengthen product availability to its European distributors. The partnership with Cerberus will increase Privateer's production capacity, provide stability to European prices, and allow Privateer to focus its domestic production on U.S. and other overseas distributors. The increased capacity will allow Privateer Press to continue to grow with the demand of its products.

Cerberus Entertainment, LLC was founded by industry veterans Bob Watts and Lisa Stevens. Mr. Watts formerly headed Games Workshop U.S., served as Vice President of Wizards of the Coast, founded Sabertooth Games, and has 30 years of experience in the miniatures game industry. Ms. Stevens also served as Vice President of Wizards of the Coast and is presently the CEO of Paizo Publishing, the largest publisher of Adventure Gaming magazines. Privateer has the utmost confidence in Cerberus to maintain its standards of quality throughout Europe. Bob Watts comments, "Privateer's commitment to quality combined with their imagery, world backgrounds, rules, and miniatures are second to none. I'm proud to be a part of the most exciting new company in the industry! It should not be long before Privateer is a force in the European market."

"We are extremely pleased to be forming this relationship with Cerberus. There is no one that we would trust more to handle the manufacturing of our products in Europe. Additionally, transferring production of our European supply to Cerberus will allow us to concentrate our efforts on meeting the demand of our other markets as well as bring new products to market that will further expand Privateer's offerings" says Sherry Yeary, president of Privateer Press, Inc.

Privateer Press, Inc. was founded in 2000 by Matt Wilson and Brian Snoddy and produces the award-winning tabletop miniatures war game Warmachine as well as the award-winning d20 Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy Roleplay.
