We Can Be Heroes II Coming in September

Back to Hobby News

Gordon of TFP Games Supporting Member of TMP writes:

Its hard to curb the enthusiasm of young girls who get the gaing bug. When we play fantasy all the leading good guys have to be 'girl' models, actually same with sci-fi. Lucky I have a few for both.

Anyway, the production is coming into final shape, and looking very veru cool.

Supplements are under way and will be available on release of the rules, starting with a fantasy, a WW2 Eastern front sort of clash of titans and steel, a Napoleonic, and followed very quickly after by a alien hunt, ACW, and then who knows.

Gordon Roach of TFP Games announces:

TFP Games has been a bit quiet the last few months, so here is some news.

First up, I am moving house this weekend, moving in with Ann.

Work situation has been rather difficult, and finding a regular income has been my priority, but that's looking solved again, so that's a weight off me.

I have been working on two projects in secret. One is not a wargame, but a fun educational family boardgame aimed at environmental awareness. My daughter has pushed this one along, and it's been very cool process and the game is looking great, so now to find some people to produce/buy it.

Lastly, thanks to my daughter and Ann's two girls, they have been really into gaming with my miniatures lately, so they pushed me into something ahead of schedule, so I now let you know that in three weeks (I anticipate that 20th September will be release date) the new We Can Be Heroes II will be released. It is a very different game mechanically, better written, and the production quality is way up there - in fact, full color throughout. It features the work of Tom Weis exclusively in the main book. The look is rather way out for me, but its relaxed easy style will make it fun to read, easy to find details, and much faster flowing, with lots of extras. Book will be available end of September through Lulu.

The A Leader of Men book is being arranged with Lulu next week, so copies should be available a week later.

I have been approached by a publishing company to print and market my books, and this is quite a possibility, so stay tuned.
