Gas masks and Chainsaws….They were my weapons of choice at the Art Dept for LOTR…I think it affected me a little!
After 7 months of Poly-carving with outrageous deadlines you become pretty agile with a chainsaw.

Kyle-G: It's good to know NZ post is efficient.

Kurasan: Good luck with yours.

"21st Century Amazons"..After the Nuclear Apocalypse the 'Amazon' Forests reclaim the Land. Communities of Monks 'Carve' out an existence in the green hell. Going back to basics they defend themselves with agricultural implements….Gun factories are a thing of the past….

Travelling around Papua New Guinea influenced me as well. You have to fly to the main centres of population because there are no roads connecting them.

I've been adding to the ranks of eco-monks for my range of sci-fi figs (21st Century Amazons).

Chainsaw Monk

This guy is into chainsaws in a big way, and he's rigged it up for steam-power.

His costume resembles that of the Pioneer figure that is in the personalities pack. I've got two more similar characters on the go, some zombies, and more girls with guns. Check out my main website, if you haven't seen the ranges I make.

I've decided to upload greens and sculpts in progress onto a MySpace page instead of my newspage, to avoid website clutter, and also to give people the chance to comment and help me out.. The figures when molded will be available on my usual website: garyhuntminiatures.com.
