Aecurtis,
Don't get me wrong, I ain't a fan of fantasy either, I really don't think they should be there at all, but, in fairness I checked the PEL too and out of the first 5 pages, thats 46 games, only 10 were non-historical. I know they want the younger players, but I think they let in a few too many fantasy games myself! I know my game is historical!
I DIED IN HELL (they called it Passchendaele) 6:00 Fri & Sat
And don't worry, we WILL have FUN!

Historicon 2007 - July 26-29 - Historical Miniature Gaming's Biggest Summer Vacation!

Historicon logo

Pre-registration opens May 14th, and the Preliminary Events List (PEL) is also available.

The PEL offers over 600 games (over 50% than last year in the PEL!), along with information about tournaments (including Flames of War), which are available for pre-registration. The PEL also contains details on the Military Seminar Series, which features presentations by various Special Guests. Plus the Painting University is well represented with its Events, Classes and Contests. In total, over 675 events offered thus far (over 50% than this time last year!).

The convention souvenir T-shirt has some great artwork from Osprey representing the convention theme - The Wars of South Asia: Afghanistan, Burma, India and Pakistan, 1800-2007. There will also be a raffle for a Fine Art Print by renown historical artist Keith Rocco - enter as many times as you want!

Go to historicon.org and click on Convention Registration for all the pre-reg details. For the list of events, click on the Events (PEL) link from the Home Page.

And, if you haven't secured your lodging yet, then click on Convention Lodging for a list of hotels where blocks of rooms are reserved solely for Historicon attendees - don't wait, they book up fast!

Remember that Historicon is the place to be for Historical Miniature Gaming each summer (July 26-29, 2007).

See you there!
