Attention, Space Cadets!

Be the first on your block to play War Rocket - the game of pulp sci-fi space combat from Hydra Miniatures. War Rocket features buzzing, sparking spaceship battles straight out of the 1930s, '40s and '50s - the Golden Age of sci-fi.

War Rocket at DunDraCon

War Rocket playtester Andrew Walters will be running demo games of this fast and fun ruleset at DunDraCon in San Ramon, California. The demo games start at 6PM on Sunday, February 15th, 2009, and will feature two tables of Pulp action! Play the heroic Galacteers as they try to defend their warning satellites from the raiding Zenethian saucers. Meanwhile, over the surface of Radon V, the Galacteers attempt a daring rescue from a Zenethian stronghold.

War Rocket demo participants will receive a free preview pack of War Rocket miniatures that includes one Galacteer class 1 fighter, one Zenithian class 1 saucer, and two plastic flight bases. The War Rocket rulebook and miniatures are scheduled for general release during the fourth quarter of 2009.
