The mysterious Lord Fú Shí'I and the even-stranger Mihálli join our Tékumel range of 28mm miniatures from M.A.R. Barker's unique fantasy world.
Sculpted by Alan Marsh, the latest addition to our range of Armies and Enemies of the Petal Throne continues to strengthen the forces of the Yán Koryáni under the command of their charismatic leader - the Baron Áld. Here you will find the Lord Fú Shí'I, advisor to Baron Áld, commander of Gurék of the Valiant of Ke'ér, and a sorcerer who can bend the Mihalli to his will, forcing them to aid the Baron with their ability to move between the planes. And the Mihálli are represented as well - creatures of legend, and great sorcerers in their own right. They are alien shapeshifters, but here adopt their familiar form with bestial head, fur-covered back, and six-digit hands!
This new release also provides miniatures for more battalions (Guréks) for the Yán Koryáni. The soldiers that make up the Guréks of Yán Kór share common features, but each Gurék has important differences in equipment and organisation reflecting the characteristics of the individual city state or powerful clan that raised it. Petal Throne enthusiasts can now raise the Gurék of the Valiant of Ke'ér and the Gurék of the Turquoise Eye with their distinctive shields, weaponry and battle standards. You can order figures for both these Guréks in special discounted unit deals.
Even if you are not a follower of Tékumel, we think these detailed fantasy miniatures are quite unique in their appearance, and open up all sorts of possibilities for the imaginative gamer and their preferred fantasy world. The infantry's scale and plate armour, in particular, allow figure painters to explore an endless variety of spectacular colour schemes for their fantasy humanoid hosts.
