"Hmm, the word ethics being used in the same paragraph as the words Games Workshop is very much calling the kettle black (Or at least Tin Bitz).
Well, I guess they will put out about 20 goofy supplements for each period, Just when you get use to them they will declare the old supplements null and void and put out a brand new batch of supplements."
Tancred – whilst I have no sympathy for GW who seem to have taken a very strange decision here (esp given recent profits announcements for GW), you do realise that GW control WHW anyway? – not quite sure what your point (that implies that now GW are involved there will be lots of extraneous goofy supplements) is intended to mean – some people might also say that endless supplements is what has already been happening.
Must buy more Scarab models

The following message from Rob Broom, former manager of Warhammer Historical, has leaked out to the various wargaming forums:

Hello, everybody!

Apologies for this group email but it has to be done this way to communicate a message.

On Wednesday morning, I was made redundant from Games Workshop and am now in a consultancy period with the company. If a suitable position is available, I can remain or else join the many job seekers. I apparently am not required to return to work apart from meetings with Human Resources.

The WHW business will now be moved to Forge World. I can't answer any questions, because I know nothing beyond that at this time.

Again, apologies that I cannot contact everybody personally, but dealing with the different time zones alone is a big enough trick!

I am still contacting people, so it's probably prudent to not discuss this publicly until the weekend, as I have many friends and acquaintances worldwide and want to tell them myself, and just sorting through the address book is a pretty big job!

Finally, my thanks for your support over the years, looks like i will be joining the ranks of "playtester" soon although, with Barbara and myself having our own small business (Scarab Miniatures) entering the world of publishing might be a option.

Kind regards!
