But unexpectedly our star, Sol, is dwindling in strength, and it's now time for humanity to make the final jump, to the stars beyond, for surviving. In Ad Astra ("To the Stars"), players are invited to guide one of the five factions of future humanity in its exploration of the galaxy - who will be able to create the greatest star-spanning civilization wins. With Ad Astra, NG International starts a new game series called "Nexus' Designer Series", which presents original games created by renowned game designers from all over the world, placing a spotlight on the authors themselves. PREVIEW PRESENTATION (GAMES TO BE RELEASED IN 2010)
Dakota
Author: Piero Cioni
Playing Age: 10+
Number of Players: 3-5
Playtime: 60-90 minutes
Euro Price: TBD
Inspired by the conquest of the West, Dakota is a game with linear mechanics but with a great attention to the thematic element. Players will take the control of a group of settlers or a tribe of natives. Each player will cooperate and compete with all other players to increase the status of his own faction, competing for natural resources which will have different values for settlers and natives. The settlers will try to exploit the territory in order to make it productive for industry and agriculture while the natives must make all efforts to keep the territory virgin as long as possible, while at the same time using its resources for the sustenance and prosperity of their own tribe. An intelligent mechanic allows to play in a balanced way even with a different number of settlers and native players - not always allies and enemies are that ones that someone could imagine. Dakota will be the first game published by NG International using the "Tenki Games" brand, recently acquired by the company.

Funny Little Games in Whitechapel is a tense game with an accurate historical setting and very intense artwork and graphics.
