CSS Powell

A set of 3Dmodel files depicting the Confederate sidewheel gunboat, CSS Powell.

She was begun in 1862 at Oven Bluff, Alabama, as one of the improved Morgan‑class gunboats ordered to strengthen Confederate river and coastal defense. She was moved downriver to Mobile for engines and final fitting out, but construction lagged due to shortages of iron, machinery and skilled labor. Although intended to join the Mobile Squadron, she was never armed, never commissioned, and disappears from surviving records after mid‑1864, her ultimate fate unreported.

The model is scaled to 1:600.
