Three new 10-figure sets of c. 2006 British infantry, c. 2006 Japanese infantry and some generic, all-purpose Middle Eastern Insurgents from Kriegspiel Miniatures' range of modern infantry and enemies. All sculpted by Mike Broadbent, and produced under licence by Eureka Miniatures.
The British and Japanese infantry are a welcome addition to the sets of modern Australian and U.S. Marine troops already available in the Kriegspiel Miniatures range. The Japanese, for example, make an interesting accompaniment to the Australian infantry sets, as both contingents have recently been serving in close co-operation with each other in Iraq. As with all the sets in the Kriegspiel Miniatures range, the new packs each contain ten figures – all in different poses – and armed with accurate and correctly scaled representations of the nationality's standard assault weapons. Supporting light machine guns have been added where appropriate.
The Middle Eastern Insurgent Set also contains 10 different figures. Dressed in 'street clothes' and armed with lots of AK-47's, plus an essential RPG-7. Most peoples' initial reaction to these will be "Iraq," but they are generic enough to be employed across a wide variety of Middle Eastern theatres and the Horn of Africa. They can also be mixed into Kriegspiel Miniatures' existing Musorian infantry sets for even more variety in your squads of ex-Soviet/Chinese-equipped irregulars.
