The Franco-Prussian Shiny Toy Soldiers are painted as The Foreign Legion. The Shinies are painted as The Hohenlohe regiment from the French army that invaded Spain in 1823-24. This short-lived unit (established 1815, disbanded 1831) is, of course, taken from Auguste De Moltzeim's magnificent volume on the French army of the Restoration.
