Wessex Games: PDF Dollar Prices Plummet

Back to Hobby News

Warbeads writes:

Okay. Went and bought Air War C21 to go with Air War Lite and my (hardcopy only of) Air War Max.

Now I need to get my DVD burner to talk to me for back-up purposes…

Gracias,

Glenn

Steve Blease of Wessex Games announces:

The good news for anyone using the U.S. dollar to buy our PDF's from Wargaming Vault is that as the price is subject to the vagaries of the currency market, which is good news for the U.S. of A.!

This means that a £5.00 GBP set of rules like Aeronef - which would have cost you $9.26 USD back in August - is now down to $7.40 USD in December - so if you fancy a game of VSF aerial combat, some JP-5 fueled modern aerial combat, getting some Napoleonic wind in your sails, blowing up some Scuds, kicking an inflated pigs bladder around a field or crushing your foes beneath your Land Ironclads, now is the time to get over and buy a download of two.

Seriously, I have to set the WV price in dollars and the exchange rate changes daily. As the products are linked to our U.K. prices, this means I check them once a month and "correct them" so the dollar price equates to our U.K. pricing structure. (I would prefer to set the prices in Sterling and have the WV computer convert them to U.S.D., but unfortunately I can't do that...)

Anyway, whatever, it's currently good news if you want to pay in dollars - and one would assume Euros as that is nearly at parity with Sterling as I found when I bought some to go to Paris last week. frown
