Especially since the Explorer's Edition came out. I'm thinking about giving a copy to everyone I game with this Christmas…so affordable, and a great gift.

An undated statement on the Double G Press website (approximately from March 2008) reads:

Double G Press Announcement

It is with sincere regret that Double G Press announces they have lost their Savage Worlds license. This means DGP will not be publishing The Ravaged Earth Society. However, do not dispair; TRES will continue. It is currently in layout with Talisman and the first proof is just weeks away. DGP will be re-assigning all rights to the TRES property to its original owner, Eric Avedissian, as soon as possible so that any delay is minimised.

DGP wishes to emphasise that the loss of its Savage Worlds license was not the fault of Pinnacle Entertainment Group. It was an outstanding piece of stupidity by DGP, and one for which there is no excuse. All that we can do is beg forgiveness from our loyal fans who have waited so patiently for so long.

In accordance with the terms of the license, all Savage Worlds material has been removed from this site. It may well make an appearance somewhere else, but for now, none of it is available.

Sadly, this is goodbye from DGP.
